Here's what I've been up to with my knitting needles lately. :)
I purchased a pattern from the wonderful Julie Williams, who blogs under the sweet name of "Little Cotton Rabbits".
I have been an admirer of Julie's work for a number of years now, and somehow managed to resist the temptation of buying one of her patterns when she first released them. I was in the thick of my own pattern-writing during that time, and didn't want to read anyone else's patterns, for fear of being influenced by their styles, etc.
I finally decided to treat myself last week, and I have enjoyed every single stitch of Julie's beautiful design.
She and I work quite differently to one-another, and her designs are more complex than mine. I tend to write for beginners, and for people who want simple or quick makes. My designs are like buttered toast whereas Julie's designs are more like scones with jam & cream. :)
Her pattern instructions are illustrated with photos and helpful hints & tips, and I felt as if she was with me throughout the making of my little bunny.
I just hope I have done the pattern justice, as it really is excellent.

Amazingly, I still haven't found my box of Christmas tree decorations! Here's a little pic of our mantlepiece....
Not sure if you can make it out, but can you see the wooden tree which my Dad made a few years ago?
I promise to give you a proper tour of the quiet home's Christmas decorations once we get our tree in place at the weekend. :)
Happy Wednesday, Friends! xxx
